I have been dying to show you this stunning dress I received for my birthday this past January. It’s so beautiful, but let’s face it, it’s a lot of dress and I don’t have enough places to wear dresses like this.
But the Fourth of July at the Four Seasons rooftop restaurant Capa, which was recently honored with a Michelin star, was an occasion that inspired me to break it out of the closet.
Handmade in Kosovo, it’s from designer Teuta Matoshi, who makes all kinds of beautiful dresses, most of which are quite long like this one, though some are in mini silhouettes. They are available in a rainbow of colors (I have my eye on a mint green one next) and have designs from floral to hearts to moon and stars like this one.
The moon and stars are special to me, and so wearing this dress is special to me with the symbols all over it, and because it makes me feel like a total princess. Fitting since I live in Disney country, I suppose. The dress does come with spaghetti straps, but it looks and feels better with them down, so I just tucked them into the dress.
I paired it with a navy bracelet bag with a bright blue charm and my fireworks shoes, along with a super classic red lip. This is one of my favorite looks and favorite additions to my closet in awhile. I can’t wait to wear it again.
Dress: Teuta Matoshi // Shoes: Christian Louboutin // Bag: Chloe
