All Turned Around #FashionFriday

Recently Mom told me she saw a fashion segment on Today where a lady demonstrated how to wear a blouse backward.  Mom also said it was really cute.

It’s too hot here to wear blouses yet … but fall is coming … yay!!!

So when I was perusing my closet looking for something to wear, I spotted an old dress I’ve worn a million times and wondered if it would look cute backward.  I gave it a shot.

And honestly, I think it is pretty cute.  The dress looks totally different backward – edgier and more modern with the exposed zipper in front.  I probably wouldn’t wear it this way all the time, but I definitely would do so again, and my eyes are always open for more opportunities to switch things around in my closet.

I paired the dress with pink accessories, while when I wore it the more traditional, classic way, I went with more neutral tones, as you can see.  I can’t say I like one look better than the other, necessarily, but that I like that they are different.  Switching things up is what makes fashion fun.
