I might have worn blue but I was anything but blue at this Tigers game in the beginning of July. When I saw we had no weekend plans, the weather was going to be stellar, and that the Tigers were home for Friday night fireworks, I decided last minute to buy tickets.
It was an excellent decision if I do say so myself. Being at the ballpark is such a treat on a beautiful summer night. We sat and watched not only the game but also the sun go down on the city of Detroit. It was such a sight as the perfectly blue sky turned dark and the glow of the late day sun shone on the buildings.
Plus, the Tigers hit a few home runs and walked away with a win. That is no small feat for them this season. The game was also super quick and made hanging around for the fireworks even better.
This was my first time ever seeing fireworks in person and I loved it! Though the show was short, it was remarkable good for a post game show that was put on right on the field. There was a variety of different fireworks and I’m so glad to check them off my bucket list while still being hungry to see more.
I chose this comfortable dress that is actually over ten years old for the outing because … I don’t know. I just wanted to wear it. I brought a jacket along but actually ended up not needing it.
Bring on more fun summer nights with baseball, dresses, and fireworks!
Do you ever just know you want to wear something?
