When most people move to Florida (or if you’ve already been listening to The Tortured Poets Department Florida!!!) they plan on spending a lot of time at the beach. While Orlando is not on the coast, you can go east or west and be on sand in under ninety minutes. However, the beach really isn’t my scene – crowds, sand, blazing sun, water and all the sea life that lurks in it.
But when the Conrad Orlando opened with it’s beach like lagoon, I found a lovely compromise that gives me all the beach vibes without all the work. It’s luxurious and beautiful and one of my new hangouts. I highly recommend checking it out if you are ever in the Orlando area.
I’ve been there a handful of times and I have worn green a lot. This isn’t on purpose, I just like the color and have been adding more of it to my wardrobe. Also, I have been there on some chilly nights (I’m about to start missing those) and several of my long sleeve dresses happen to be green.
This was actually the first time I wore the green sequin v-neck dress. It soaked up the golden hour light beautifully, making the dress look like it was glowing. I paired it with rose gold and gold accessories and I can’t wait to wear the dress again. It is comfortable, flattering, and ready for any special occasion.
The other green dress with sequins in a leaf like pattern in varying shades of purple and green is another go-to when I want to add some shine to my outfit. I like to pop it with a metallic bag and shiny shoes that have a hint of purple-pink to bring out those notes in the dress.
I also happen to have my fish earrings on in both of these looks because when in Rome … or at the beach.
