So lets talk about the … rabbit in the room?
I have bunny ears on in this picture. There’s no denying it.
You might guess these were taken on Easter and you’d be right. Not that you could totally put it past me to break out the Peep ears on a random Tuesday in the middle of August. Life is short. Wear the bunny ears.
And eat the doughnuts. These masterpieces were from The Glass Knife and they tasted even better than they look. Orlando’s doughnut game is on point so far!
Another blogger might have skipped the ears. Or at least taken them off for pictures. They might have kept these photos from you even. But I love this outfit. I love this sunny day. And I want to share these photos and the shopping suggestions below.
I don’t have exact matches for you this week either. I know #bloggerfail. That’s what happens when a lot of your wardrobe is a decade old. But I found some pretty cool items I think are close and would make awesome additions to any closet.
The base of this outfit is a classic white dress. Like a classic black dress, it allows for accessories to be the star. For this outfit, I went with accessories in shades of blue. Including the ears. And though it may be a little difficult to tell, my necklace is lapis beads. Those are Mom’s; she got them before I was even born. Over the past few years we have gotten into wearing them after they spent too much time hidden away.
Not only was this a great Easter outfit, it’s a great spring outfit. It’s bright and happy and fun. Though the mood of the outfit would change, a black dress could most definitely be swapped in for the white dress.
And of course, the ears are optional … but recommended 😉
