This week I posted an Instagram explaining that blue is Mom’s favorite color. It is not my favorite color. I’m not even sure it’s in my top five. But it makes up a large percentage of my wardrobe because it looks really good with my skin tone and it’s a super versatile color that pops more than black but isn’t as loud as hot pink or bright yellow.
Today I have for you two outfits I wore recently that pair blue and white. One is pretty casual. It’s a fun and flirty two piece outfit that makes me feel like a teenager when I wear it. It’s so perfect for the easy breezy vibes of Florida, and honestly I always love a matching set.
I paired it with my favorite blue shoes (that are about fifteen years old and seriously need to be replaced but I love them) and a fun bucket bag, along with that bright red lipstick.
I went back to the red lipstick for a night out look with an elegant strapless dress with blue floral embroidery and a fun swag. It’s a timeless dress that still has a fun feel to it. I popped it with a crystal bag and my star pumps. I actually wore this exact same look once before, but I was out to dinner with friends and didn’t take any pictures.
Almost a year later, I pulled it back out and got to take photos to share with you for some blue and white inspiration for all your summer activities.
I must admit, nights when mother nature is by far the best dressed are my absolute favorite, especially here in Orlando where the sunsets often take my breath away.
Top and skirt: L’Academie // Blue pumps: Manolo Blahnik // Bucket bag: Burberry // Dress: Oscar de la Renta // Star pumps: Saint Laurent // Crystal bag: Prada
Great looks both! I love the fun and flirty look of the two piece! It looks so young, carefree and Floridian. The second look is just so stylish and sophisticated! Looking great in both.
Thank you so much xoxo
