You saw a sneak peek of this outfit in my review of Knife and Spoon the other day. Now I am putting it on full display. I bought this dress last summer during sale season, and I have only worn it twice, the first time without much of an opportunity to take pictures.
It’s one of those once in a lifetime sale finds that is beyond cool – my first Oscar de la Renta dress that I watched and watched and watched waiting for the perfect moment to buy. It doesn’t always work out, but it did this time, and I am so glad because I love this dress.
The bright, summery color, the strapless silhouette, the fancy sash that I have to remember every time I sit or stand so it doesn’t drag and get dirty. Unfortunately it is sold out, but below you’ll see one similar in color and here I have linked another. Plus here is a different ODLR sale find.
I paired it with a Chloe bag I snagged on sale a few years ago. I don’t see any on sale right now, but the same bag in a different color is below. It’s nice because it’s small and cute with the bracelet handle but holds more than you might think.
And then there are the shoes. I can’t quite explain why I was inspired to wear them, save to say I wanted some sparkle for our big night out. I bought them on sale and you can too … in a different color – bright blue. They are a fun designer shoe buy and pretty comfortable. These are dancing shoes!
Going out again and bright blue skies and hope for more bright days to comes, those are most definitely reasons to wear dancing shoes.
