A few months ago I saw a preview of the Burberry Spring/Summer ad campaign on a fashion blog and I couldn’t get the Mini Bee handbag out of my mind. I rushed to Burberry.com to purchase it immediately, but it wasn’t available yet.
After waiting on pins and needles for the past couple months, the Mini Bee finally came in!
I debated over colors and ultimately ended up ordering the bright turquoise one from Neiman Marcus.
I practically attacked the box when the FedEx guy delivered it. Under the tissue paper and dust cover was seriously the prettiest purse I’ve ever seen.
The turquoise leather is such a happy, vibrant color – perfect for spring. The center of the bag is coated canvas in the traditional Burberry check (because if you’re going to buy something Burberry, it needs the check!) and a complementary navy color.
The hardware is gleaming brass and the leather is sealed with a turquoise color that is just gorgeous and shiny.
Thankfully, the Mini Bee is also rather spacious. I have had this problem lately with my cell phone not fitting in some purses (#girlprobs, I know!), but I can stash my phone, giant sunglass case and more in here with ease.
Though it was an investment, I will treasure my Mini Bee forever. As long as I can prevent Mom from stealing it from me 🙂

Thanks, Nina! Yes it is my go-to bag right now. I’m obsessed with all things Victoria Beckham, but her design aesthetic has changed a lot, so I don’t tend to relate to her clothes as much any more.
