Candy Corn Puppy Chow #SundaySupper

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1 cup candy corn (I love Jelly Belly’s)
  • ½ cup Reese’s Pieces
  • 5 cups Corn Chex
  • 3 cups confectioners’ sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large microwave safe bowl, combine peanut butter and chips. Microwave on high in 30 second increments, stirring in between to promote melting, until the mixture is completely melted.
  2. Add candy corn and Reese’s Pieces to melted peanut butter mixture so they melt a little. Begin adding cereal and stir to coat. Once all of the cereal is added, the mixture will still be very gooey. That is how I think it is most delicious, but if you would like a drier mixture, add more cereal.
  3. Gradually add the confectioners’ sugar, stirring to coat, until the cereal is completely coated. Puppy chow may be stored in a zipper bag at room temperature for up to 1 week.
