Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup peanut butter chips
- 1 cup candy corn (I love Jelly Belly’s)
- ½ cup Reese’s Pieces
- 5 cups Corn Chex
- 3 cups confectioners’ sugar
Instructions
- In a large microwave safe bowl, combine peanut butter and chips. Microwave on high in 30 second increments, stirring in between to promote melting, until the mixture is completely melted.
- Add candy corn and Reese’s Pieces to melted peanut butter mixture so they melt a little. Begin adding cereal and stir to coat. Once all of the cereal is added, the mixture will still be very gooey. That is how I think it is most delicious, but if you would like a drier mixture, add more cereal.
- Gradually add the confectioners’ sugar, stirring to coat, until the cereal is completely coated. Puppy chow may be stored in a zipper bag at room temperature for up to 1 week.
