Cause of Death Celebration + Giveaway

Okay, so last week was a little rocky.  My first book was published … dream come true.  And then none were available … worst nightmare.

Exactly one week and a bunch of kind of contentious emails and phone calls later, the problem has been solved.  It was a really strange week because I wanted to be excited that my book came out, but I didn’t know how things were going to play out or when the problem was going to be solved.  It was really hard to cope with watching my dream hang in purgatory.

I was honestly kind of worried I wouldn’t be able to get excited again after I kind of had to stop and sit and wait.  I felt sad and angry and then just numb … the emotions too much to deal with for my brain and body.

But once the problem was solved and I was signing a few books, the excitement returned.  I am thrilled my dream has come true!  Beyond words excited you can now order and receive a copy of Cause of Death from Amazon or Barnes and Noble.  I even threw the confetti from some Pat McGrath makeup packaging in the air (those videos are on Instagram 🙂 ) and opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate.

I love this book.  Sometimes I super seriously cannot believe I wrote it.  It’s a twisty domestic thriller with some main characters who all move to the beat of their own drum and believe the lies they tell themselves and each other.
