Celebrations are a little different lately. We have adjusted the actual celebrations as well as sometimes the reasons for celebrating. In a world that is so often dark and cold, it’s more important than ever to make a fuss over the simplest of good things … a card from a friend, a favorite show on TV, and most definitely a super nice fall day.
That’s what I celebrated the evening these photos were taken. A stunning day was capped off by a gorgeous evening that Mom and I spent at our outdoor summer hangout 160 Main in Downtown Northville.
It was no less spectacular on this evening with fabulous food, service, and of course views of the downtown all lit up with hanging lights and full of life, everyone wanting that last taste of summer in the middle of fall. Pro tip: order the lamb chops!
After dinner, we took a walk, hearts warmed by the people out and about, eating, drinking, talking, playing games. No one wanted to go inside, us most definitely included, even though eventually we had to.
For the evening, I brought out my sparkliest dress with my gold belt and some silver shoes to drive home the metallic accents with my outfit, topped off with a rose gold purse. Like I mix the metals in my jewelry, this night I chose to mix them in my outfit. And I love how it turned out, with the pink pulling everything together.
Here’s to celebrating everything we can.
Dress: Racil // Bag: Kate Spade // Belt: Gucci // Shoes: Prada

Gotta take advantage of dining outdoors before the weather turns bitter cold! Looks like a fun time — thanks.
