I understand that, like anything, fashion is subjective, and this outfit is not for everyone.
I believe that, like a lot of things, fashion should be fun.
I actually love this outfit and how it both coordinates and clashes. Mom did not love it, but I think it grew on her a little.
At the end of the day, it’s just an outfit; clothes that came off when I got home. I may or may not wear this top and skirt combination again, but I am glad I wore it this time. It was fun. It made me smile. And that’s always a good thing.
If an outfit like this inspires you, that makes me so happy. Wear things that kind of go together, but not really. How you style them and the attitude with which you pair them will dictate how it comes together in the end.
If this outfit is way too far out of your comfort zone, that’s okay too. Wear what makes you happy. That will come out in your personality and make a difference in your day.
I added even more plaid to these two gingham pieces with my purse but brought the whole look together with super simple sandals. Because even for me there was a limit to the craziness.
I get all the vacay vibes from this outfit, even though I wasn’t on vacation at all. That’s another really cool thing about fashion – it’s transportive. Turns out clothes can do a lot.
Top: Kendall and Kylie // Skirt: L’Academie // Shoes: Saint Laurent // Bag: Burberry
You know what? I actually love this. I am so bored of baggy neutral streetwear. Keep being proudly you!
Awww, thank you so much, Kiara! That means a lot 🙂
Not a favorite for me but I love your hair and the shoes! You wear it well though I will give you that. Keep doing you for sure.
Haha, that’s okay. We all have different taste, and I love that 🙂
