I took these photos last December, I swear. But being in Florida, you wouldn’t necessarily know, other than the whole Christmas tree thing.
All of these photos were either taken at our rental while our house was completed (I miss the yard but not the house) or in Celebration during a quick trip to explore. I really want to go back there especially now that more is bound to be open and thriving.
It’s a cute town with some quite picturesque scenery that is worth visiting if you are in central Florida.
I kind of miss these winter days, now that it’s hot and humid in Florida for summer. Don’t get me wrong this is so much better, I repeat so much better, than a Michigan winter, but I’m looking forward to fall and winter now. And I’m looking forward to another Christmas. One in my home with what I hope will be a much greater feeling of peace and festive celebrations, like holidays in the past.
That’s something I never thought I would say. But times change, places change, and so do people. I am no exception. My home is different, my style is evolving along with my taste, my goals, my wants. It’s sometimes a lot to cope with on this wild ride called life, made even more wild by what we have been through recently.
Sometimes I try to quiet the internal questions and doubts and just have some freaking fun. So I put on this sequined dress, visited a cool town, and did my best to relax.
Unfortunately the dress is sold out. You’ll see some similar ones below. But you can also check out this slip dress, pencil skirt, and tank top with the same sequin pattern by the same designer, Michelle Mason, who I am a big fan of. This is one of my favorite dresses because, like all her pieces, it is fun, sophisticated, and comfortable. Liking those things, probably won’t ever change foe me.
Dress: Michelle Mason // Shoes: Prada // Bag: Ferragamo // Sunglasses: Saint Laurent
Nice post and beautiful dress! I did also like the yard there in your rental. It was very relaxing but so will your yard when you get it the way you want it.
Well, I don’t think this yard will ever be quite that nice, but it will be nice in a different way, I suppose.
