Our weather went from summer like and awesome to gross and wintery in a matter of days. My brain, body, and wardrobe were not ready for it, but I’ve been making due, especially on days when the sun comes out and the temperature creeps near fifty (woo hoo).
I had never been to the Franklin Cider Mill even though I had driven past it numerous times and heard so many people rave about it. So on one of those sunny but chilly days, we headed to the Cider Mill.
It was bustling but not packed. The atmosphere is super relaxed with a creek filled with ducks waiting for a bite to eat. The creaky bridge takes you over to the main building.
Outside, all kinds of apples, jams, mustards, and more are for sale, while inside is the main event. They have classic cider doughnuts, freshly baked pies and bread, and of course cider. From slushies to piping hot, they have cider for every taste. We took home a half gallon of cider to enjoy.
For the outing, I chose denim on denim, which I think is an underrated look. Paired with my star embellished top and fur trimmed boots, I felt ready for a fall adventure.
