There is something about this outfit that feels very city chic, like I’m ready to hit the streets of NYC. Instead, Mom and I took a trip to Ferndale and Public House, one of my favorite restaurants for good, quick, fresh food and a fun atmosphere.
We actually sat on the covered patio since it was a lovely night. And it just felt good to be out and having fun. I feel like I can see that in these photos, the weight lifted off my shoulders for a bit as the world faded away and I let go and had fun.
Of course red lipstick and high heels don’t hurt either 😉
I found this skirt on sale at Saks just about a month ago and it is such a fun find that I will be able to wear year round when I pair it with other things.
It pairs so well with my Johanna Ortiz top that just screams fun, and sometimes life should be about having fun and nothing else.
