So I live in Florida and you probably wonder why on earth summer even matters to me. I mean it’s warm and sunny year round, right?
Well, yes and no. Summer, particularly this year, has meant it is incredibly hot outside. Like melt your face off hot. It’s also humid and the sun is incredibly intense. Even long time locals are telling me this year is kind of crazy hot.
So I am treating this current season as I would the dog days of summer in Michigan and breaking out all my summer-iest clothes. Like these two stunning white tops that pair so well with so many skirts and instantly make me feel like I am on vacation.
While they are similar in sleeve and color, they each have their own vibe. The one that ties in the back is a little more formal and flirty. The one with the square neck is more of a go-to top to wear for anything and everything.
Not only am I so glad I have these tops in my closet, but I also love these skirts so much. I don’t wear the red one enough – it’s so much fun with all the ruffles. And I am just so in love with the giant pastel skirt. It basically begs to be swished around all day long.
Sandals rounded out the looks … because summer. I hope these two looks inspire you to embrace summer, even if it has been perhaps a little too hot throughout much of the country.

Great summery looks!! I remember those days of a little skin showing! Love, love both looks but especially the top that ties in the back. How cute is that!
