One of the best things about summer is the longer days. It’s so nice to be able to go out to dinner and come home and take a walk while it’s still light outside. Okay, so I like to eat early, but still it’s light until about nine o’clock right now and the days are still getting longer.

Okay, back to regularly scheduled programing. I posted earlier this week about my fabulous trip to Eddie V’s. I snapped some pics on their patio and in front of their fountain.
Then I came home and took some more pictures in front of this year’s new daffodils. Flowers are just the best and daffodils are some of my favorites for a couple reasons. First, they are some of the first flowers to sprout and such a sign of spring. Second, they are animal resistant. Most critters will not eat them unlike pretty much any other flowers.
I wore one of my favorite black dresses for this outing. It’s cool and super comfortable but at the same time dressy. More and more it has become my go to for pretty much everything.

I’m on that team for daylight savings time!!! I love the days being light longer…. And I love your black dress. Yes, I have a few dresses that are my go to…a few dressy and a few casual. I especially love my Black Halo dress that you and your mom found for me. I wore it Thursday for our Anniversary dinner.
