So this isn’t my best dress, but it is one I love, even if the fit isn’t perfect and it leaves a trail of sequins wherever I go. Mom gave it to me several Christmases ago, and it’s sparkly and the most delicate beautiful blush color. So I love it because it’s mine at Mom’s hand.
And I am most definitely not fearless. It’s okay that I wasn’t fearless during the storm (well kind of okay – I was a ball of nerves to say the least), but on a day to day basis I get mired in overthinking and worrying about details big and small about tasks and occasions big and small.
Sometimes though when I put on the right outfit and a happy shade of lipstick and the right song comes on the radio (if you didn’t guess yet, this post is a tribute to Taylor Swift’s Fearless era – sequins! feminine dresses! curled hair!), the fears do go away little by little. Add actual dancing to the mix (it’s been way too long since I’ve done any actual dancing), and fear becomes a distant memory even if only for a few minutes.
For this fearlessly fashionable look, I stuck with neutrals, classic ones in my bag and modern ones in my shoes. It’s a look I like for it’s simple but glamorous vibe. Maybe, just maybe it’s an outfit that really will inspire a little more fearlessness or at least a little less anxiety.

Lovely, just lovely. I love sequins too and your vibe looks great!
Yeah, I mean can you really trust people who don’t like sequins???
