Dancing in the Street #FashionFriday

When I came upon this street just outside SheWolf Pastificio, I made Mom take some photos since it was deserted.  She protested, but we made it and were incredibly careful.  *don’t try this at home, kids.

Like last week’s look, this dress is rather memorable.  Once you wear it once, you’ve worn it a million times.

Also like last week’s look, I like wearing things I love repeatedly for years and years, so I try to mix things up.

This time, it meant blue lipstick to match the deep accents in the floral print of the dress and my purse, a black belt and shoes, and neon bright sunglasses.

I actually really like this look even though both the lipstick and the sunglasses are a little out there.  It feels especially appropriate for a night out in a big city, such as Detroit.

Our meal at SheWolf and cocktails at Bad Luck Bar, all spent with fabulous friends, were wonderful.  Both are must visit spots in the city.

Beating the Monday blues by thinking about the awesome meal I recently had at SheWolf. I was there a little less than a year ago shortly after they opened and had a good meal. Having gone back, the food, drink, and service were much improved. That kind of progress is the mark of a wonderful restaurant that will stick around a long time. My favorite dish was the Copper River King Salmon special. Any restaurant that serves wild fish is high on my list and one that serves it with crispy skin has won my heart 🧡🐠🧡 Also pictured are the scallops, pea ravioli, and beet salad.
