Yes, I have cat ears on in these photos.
Yes, these photos were taken on Halloween.
No, Halloween is not the only time I would wear an adorable headband with cat ears.
Sorry, not sorry, y’all.
With, and definitely without, the headband, this is not a Halloween only look. It’s a sleek and classic outfit with beige and gold tones, a hint of black from the bag and shoes, and dramatic makeup.
In fact, it took me some time to fall in love with these photos and this look. I thought my makeup might be too dramatic, but now I like it. I like the bold contrast to the tonal colors of the dress, shoes, and bag. Even the gold of the headband coordinates with the outfit, and my hair.
So if I had worn all gold and nude colored makeup, the look would have been washed out. By choosing a bold lip and a smoky eye, I took what could have been an outfit that was anything but memorable and turned it into something that pops.
Fashion is all about trying different things and taking risks. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes it takes time to appreciate, sometimes I might be the only one to love my look. And all of it is okay, because there will be another outfit another time.

What a cool look! Yes, your eyes are dramatic but the look is perfect with the outfit! Beautiful sunset too. And why not cat ears headband….(-:
