Your eyes are not deceiving you. I have two different polka dot prints on in one of these looks. The black and pink dots are actually part of a dress. I layered a puffy polka dot skirt on top for a totally new, totally fun look that might be out there for some. But I truly loved it.
It not only made two staple pieces that have been a part of my wardrobe for a long time feel brand new, but it was an eye catching look that I just wore to the mall but would be no less at home at any event. The outfit wad most definitely enough, so I kept accessories pretty simple with black sandals and a coordinating pink bag.
Remember that fashion should be fun. I thought of this outfit but didn’t know if it would actually work until I put it on. I knew the worst case scenario was that I would have to change. I bet I will wear this pair again, however if I never feel that brave again and it was just a moment in my fashion history, that’s okay too.
The striped … er dashed … dress is another summer favorite that I wore to the beautiful and unique Morse Museum in Winter Park. Full of Tiffany glass, a handful of paintings, and a glorious marble chapel, it is so worth a visit if you are ever in the Orlando area. I would go so far as to say it is one of my favorite museums I have ever visited.
That simple summer outfit let my giant Saturn earrings shine, as giant Saturn earrings should. Just ask Adele 😉
