You probably know by now I love a floral print. There are so many different flowers that can be included. Floral prints come in all different colors. They are on tops and skirts and dresses, even shoes and purses. The floral print knows no bounds, and there is definitely one for everyone.
It can be hard to wear floral print in the fall without looking a bit out of place. Even here in Florida where tropical vacation wear goes all the time, it’s still nice to lean into the season now that I’m a resident of the sunshine state. Particularly around the holidays it feels weird dressing like it’s mid-July.
Enter a very fall feeling floral print dress. Not to mention one that’s giving all the Lover era vibes. This is one of the newer additions to my closet though it is not a new dress. It was a find from The Outnet that allowed me to pick up a really classy dress at a more reasonable price than I otherwise would have been able to.
The sleeves definitely take this to an autumnal place. They also make this dress perfect for days that are a little chilly. Plus the puff at the shoulders and bell cuffs take the dress to another level. It wouldn’t be nearly as memorable without these little touches.
The colors in the floral print of the dress push it toward the chillier, golden hued months of fall. I love those richer, jewel tones since they are flattering and a little more sophisticated than a lot of floral prints.
I paired it with a gold bag to enhance the undertones in the dress, as well as red pumps to pull out some of the richer tones in the print. Greens and browns would also be fun with this dress and change up how it looks, though it is quite memorable all on its own.
I hope you will look at floral prints in a different and seasonal light!
