Very often when I am going somewhere I turn to the day dresses I have in my closet. For me, they are so easy to grab, put on, and go. I don’t have to worry about matching tops and skirts; I don’t even have to think.
While I sometimes struggle to find dresses like this that fit well, look great, and are super comfortable, when I do, I wear them all the time. I actually have this one in a bright shamrock green as well.
The ¾ sleeves make it perfect almost year round and the fit and flare silhouette is very flattering.
I also love the bold color. It is very striking and pops against my skin and hair. Plus it pairs well with neutrals and metallic, like the Prada shoes I wore with my polka dot skirt.
Those shoes are actually one of my favorite things in my closet. They were a collaboration with Neiman Marcus when they celebrated their 100th anniversary. I picked up this alligator pair on sale and couldn’t be happier I found them.

Cute dress! How tall are you? I’m 5’9.5” which unfortunately means a lot of cute dresses are inappropriately short on me. This one is a nice length!
I’m 5’2″, so most things are super long on me. I like this dress because it is a good length, and I bet it would work on you too.

I wore a similar dress in white twice last week. I agree with the ease of wearing a day dress! Now I just need a close up of those shoes (I have a little shoe addiction problem ;)). You look great!
