When I’m going out, I love to put on a dress. It’s so simple to not have to think about choosing matching tops and skirts. I have a few favorite dresses that are easy to wear and always look good. When I look good, I feel good.
This is one of the classic dresses in my closet. I bought it years ago (seriously, maybe five years) at Neiman Marcus when I had a coupon. I wear it all the time, whether I’m running errands or heading out for dinner.
The silhouette is really flattering with the built in belt and draping. It isn’t too tight or grabby and the fabric is breathable. It doesn’t wrinkle easily and never leaves me feeling uncomfortable.
Plus, it goes with anything. I paired it with my new squiggly heel Christian Louboutins this time. When I spotted these months ago, I knew I had to have them. They are different than anything else in my closet with that unique heel. I absolutely love the color too. It makes me happy just looking at them.
I also added my Dior bag with a little Tiffany key chain that matches the shoes pretty well, and my favorite fierce sunglasses. All of that along with a classic red lip, gave me a modern yet sophisticated look that made me feel like I could conquer the world … or at least the mall.
