Like my skin, my hair and scalp have a tendency to get really, really dry. I’m sure this has something to do with the fact that I wash my hair every day. I know everyone thinks that’s so bad, but when you work out and are a germaphobe, it’s almost impossible to resist the urge.
Luckily, I have Moroccanoil products to rely on. Mom’s hairstylist introduced her to the Moroccanoil products years ago, and we have both loved them ever since. I love their Treatment Oil. And that’s exactly how I use it: as a treatment.
Because my hair is fine, it can be easily weighed down by heavy products, like oils, so I steer clear of it when styling my hair for an event. However on days I’m just at home, I put it on to moisturize and soothe my scalp and hair. If you have thicker or coarser hair, you could definitely use a little when blow drying to add shine.
My aunt also relies on it to get the tangles out of her hair. She says she doesn’t know if she could even brush her hair without it.
The Luminous Hairspray is another favorite of mine. I do use it when styling my hair. The light mist doesn’t weigh it down in the slightest. Instead when I use it before styling, it adds extra volume to my hair with a bit of shine.
Oh, and all the Moroccanoil products smell ah-mazing! They have a tropical, vanilla-y, slightly floral thing going on that is really pleasant and even soothing.
The next time you want to shake up your haircare routine and give your hair some love, check out Moroccanoil products!
