Hair and makeup products are definitely a part of fashion. One’s outfit is never complete without good hair and makeup. I have been obsessed with makeup since I was a little girl, but recently I’ve also become fairly obsessed with hair products. It used to be I would just brush my hair and head out for the day, but now my hair styling routine is much more complicated. I either use the flat iron or hot rollers most of the time. Sometimes I use mousse to “crunch” it and give it those beachy, effortless waves we all want. I have hair spray, heat setting spray, smoothing oils, and more.
Because I have rather fine, flat, straight hair, I’m also always looking for products that give my hair some body, products that make it look thicker and fuller than it is, ones that add lots of volume. Recently my hair stylist introduced me to Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray. This is my favorite product currently and makes my hair look awesome whether I’m wearing it straight, curly, or wavy.
Similar to a dry shampoo, when you spray it on, it is a burst of spray that really gives the hair some height and volume, as well as texture that makes it easier to style and then hold the style. The spray smells really fresh and clean. I love it; forget perfume, I just wear this! It also feels kind of cool on the scalp, and never gets sticky like hair spray. The effect is immediate with tons of volume. It helps to hold styles all day long. It can also be used to refresh your style throughout the day, particularly if it’s humid and kind of a bad hair day. A few sprays of this and hair looks totally awesome again.
Also if you don’t wash your hair everyday, this will be your new best friend. It acts like a dry shampoo, absorbing oils on hair and making it look fresh, clean, and healthy.
I don’t know what I did before finding Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray. It is always a part of my hair product collection, and I would not be without it. Ladies, give it a try and you will be addicted too!
Ohh this product sounds very interesting. I do like my dry shampoo but I’m always looking to try new products! Thanks for the tip!
I will try this as I don’t wash my hair everyday anymore. Thanks for the great product tip.
Oooh! My mom and sister both have fine hair so I’m sending this their way!
I took your advice last month and tried Deborah Lippman hard rock nail polish and loved it! And now you’ve sold me on this texturizing spray. Going to get some today, thanks for the tip!! 🙂
That’s so good to hear, Fran! I hope you like this too 🙂
My hair has definitely had some bad moments lately but I think this spray could fix a lot of them!
Oooooh that looks awesome-I need to try it!
I’ve never heard of this brand…very cool. As I get older, I find that I’m picky on my hair products and am always looking for something new keep it healthy and looking full. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
I have this too!! My hubby bought it for me because I always complained about my hair being thin, flat, etc. The problem is, I’m not sure how to use it 🙂 Do you tease your hair after spraying it in??
I style my hair first, so I flat iron it or curl it or whatever. Then lots of times, I flip my head over and spray my hair with this – major volume! I still typically have some flatness at the top, so then I lift up small sections and spray underneath them for added volume. I usually have to smooth it down a tiny bit with my hands. You can tease before or after, but I find I prefer to use this and not tease unless my hair is looking super flat. Let me know if this helps, Ashley!
