Another year has already come and gone. I honestly cannot believe it! Where has the time gone? With the New Year nearly upon us, it’s time for me to recap my favorite recipes from this year. I hope you might find a new favorite that you missed along the way.
I made these for my birthday last year and I haven’t stopped thinking about them since. These are totally irresistible with peanuts, homemade caramel, and peanut butter nougat.
A savory recipe! I have made these several times, and I just can’t get enough of them. They are so perfect to make tacos with ground beef, steak, or fish.
This is another recipe I make over and over again. I always have some in my freezer for a quick breakfast. They are easy to make, gluten free, and full of flavors and textures.
Just in time for the holidays when you might have an extra panettone or two lurking, this is the best thing to do with them. There is something about the buttery bread dipped in a egg custard, pan fried to perfection, and soaked in maples syrup that I can’t get enough of.
Golden Oreo Rice Krispies Treats
I have a serious weakness for Rice Krispies Treats, and adding a Golden Oreo crust took them over the top in the best way.
Bourbon. Peaches. Cake. Need I say more?
This might be a surprising choice, but I couldn’t get enough of this cake. I ate it two days in a row. I NEVER do that.
Everyone loves banana bread, but adding blueberries makes it just a little more special. I even threw in some blackberries once.
I loved the Blackberry Pie Bars, and these only improved on the original. The snap of the shortbread, the creamy custard filling, and the juicy cherries are a match made in heaven.
I hated to see summer end, but this pie was the perfect way to celebrate it.
Gluten Free Blueberry Pancakes
Whether your gluten free or not, you need these insanely fluffy, cakey pancakes in your life!
I know you’re thinking you won’t like this, but you are so wrong. It is crazy good with the olive oil, citrus, and bourbon!
Peppermint Bark Peanut Butter Cookies
I wasn’t expecting to like the combination of peppermint and peanut butter, but I love it. I can’t stop thinking about these cookies. Luckily there are a few in the freezer waiting for me!
I can’t wait to see what amazing recipes 2015 has in store!
