I’m always looking for different things to do around town. I’ve been so many places that it’s fun and exciting to check out some new territory.
Recently, my parents and I went to the Cranbrook Art Museum. Cranbrook is a lower, middle, and upper school on beautiful grounds with both an art and science museum. I’ve been to campus a few times when I thought about going there briefly and took some standardized tests. The entire area is pretty much magical.
Driving around trying to find the museum (not as easy as it sounds), we loved looking around even in the dead of winter. We encountered several deer, which was quite an amazing site.
The museum wasn’t exactly our cup of tea. We do like art, but this was very different art. The best exhibit was about Pewabic Pottery, a more than century old Detroit staple that produces some really beautiful pottery. I’ve been to their studio before and have a few of their pieces.
However, once we explored the museum, when we stepped outside on the chilly, yet sunny day, the scenery was so beautiful we snapped some photos.
I love this white blouse that’s classic but not quite so simple with rhinestone buttons and ruffles. I did want some pops of color, so I chose my new Fendi handbag and my classic Manolo Blahnik BB pumps. At least my color combination was a little artsy 😉

Your Blahniks speak to my heart and of course I’ll take the Fendi too 🙂 Sounds like a great day for exploring! Although, I am not sure I can explore in those heels. You are my hero!

Haha! I always wear heels. There are a couple pairs that bother me and are “dinner” shoes aka I only wear them when I sit all night, but other than that I’m up for anything in heels.
