I have been dying to try Hampton Social since my trip to Chicago a few years ago. I didn’t have the chance then due to time constraints, distance, and the fact that they were always incredibly busy.
One opened in Orlando just a couple months ago and I got to check it out a couple weeks ago. It was just an afternoon trip to get out of the house and investigate a bit. So this post is focusing a lot more on the vibes and my outfit … it is #fashionfriday after all.
But because I totally loved it, I will be back to try more of the food and do a full review.
It is perfect for dinner because the food we tried – Maine style lobster roll with house made potato chips and crispy potatoes – was awesome. It’s a cool, hip, hangout with tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Hampton Social is huge! And they have live music every single day.
So, it’s also perfect to just hang out and have some snacks, a super foamy cappuccino, and/or some cocktails. I’m excited to explore the cocktail menu more. The frose was pretty awesome and totally satisfied that craving since I haven’t had one in a couple years. The rose of the day was okay, but there’s plenty more to explore.
Quick little outings like this are one of my favorite things right now. They allow me to get dressed up, get out of the house for a while, and investigate a place to see if I really want to invest my time and money there for a big night out.
It was the simplest of days that included a smattering of rain drops – you might notice the heavy clouds in the photos – but I loved it.
My easy breezy outfit included lots of Hampton Social worthy pink to match my drink. It was the first time I wore these super fun and super comfortable shoes. Buying them was one of the last really great memories I have before the pandemic. Mom and I went to the mall just for something to do. We popped in the shiny new Jimmy Choo store, I saw these, tried them on, loved them, and bought them. I hadn’t done that in a long time, going to the mall already having begun to be something rarely on my to do list. And when I did, I rarely saw things I liked that were actually available right then and there in my size.
I haven’t just sat home throughout all this time, but the right occasion to wear these shoes never presented, until this day. The exact shoe is linked below – just in a different color. They were on sale when I bought them … a year and a half ago.
I think I look pretty happy in these photos, because I was. I was totally in the moment and having a good time. And I’m really glad I finally broke those shoes out of their box. Here’s to more moments of perfect simplicity.

It’s always nice to explore. I’ve always loved being a tourist in my own town, and now that it’s a new one, even better!
