It had been a really long time since I got a nice party dress, so when a 20% off coupon from Saks arrived in the email, I knew it was time to go shopping. I just love when Saks sends these and they even include some makeup – it’s a serious score.
After looking at all the options, I decided on this stunning Roland Mouret dress. When it came, it was even prettier in person. Though the zipper is a little weird, I am extra careful and it works pretty well. I just couldn’t give this dress up because of the zipper.
The folds, pleats, and structure of the dress show the careful craftsmanship that went in to making it. And the fabric demonstrates the quality as well. The midnight blue is accented by metallic threads that add a youthful glamour to the dress. I also love the length and the zipper that goes all the way down in the back.
Some ombre Christian Louboutins and my Dior bag rounded out the look and kept things in the blue-green color family.
