I love fashion, and I definitely love a floral print dress. I have since I came home from preschool telling my mom about Allison’s dress. I don’t remember exactly who Allison was or what her dress looked like, except it had flowers on it and I eventually got a similar one. It’s actually one of the only things I remember about preschool. The other is being sent home for what they thought was the chicken pox but wasn’t. I’d get that in first grade … over Christmas vacation. I still can’t talk about it.
One of the things I love more than fashion and floral prints (yes, I said it) is fresh flowers. I absolutely love having a vase of flowers on the kitchen counter, seeing new blooms in the yard, admiring the flowers at the resorts around town (they seriously know how to do it right!). And recently when I had tea at the Ritz and also the Four Seasons and fresh flowers were part of the fun, I was beyond excited.
In both of these looks, I am all too happy to have fresh flowers in my hand and floral print dresses on my body. These dresses are also quite unique as floral prints go. The pink one has a beautiful crystal buckle and cape that catches the Florida breeze perfectly. I have never seen another dress like it, and I’m so happy when I wear it.
The blue and white one has a swinging swag and strapless silhouette that is totally timeless. It’s perfect for just about any festivity and it was really fun to wear for tea over Memorial Day weekend since it definitely says summer!
I’m happy that I can wear floral prints basically all the time in Florida, but especially this summer I am ready to break out all the flowers in my wardrobe and beyond.
