Prints seem to scare people away but these two looks are here to show you that should not be the case. Let’s start with the floral print, because that’s the friendliest of the print family. Florals are pretty easy to wear, especially with a neutral background like this black dress.
Find the flowers and silhouette that works best for you and give it a go. I took this whole look in a pink direction with the pink flowers, makeup, and shoes, but the bag brings it back from the brink of being too much. You could definitely pair this with all black accessories for a more professional look that would still look great.
By the way, these photos were taken at the gorgeous Dubsdread Golf Course. If you are in the Orlando area, this place is stunning and serene. Definitely worth a visit.
Now let’s move on to the fruity side of prints. This is definitely a trend and I always smile when I see a fruit print. It’s not as user friendly as floral, but it’s not too far. Totally not as dramatic as dots, stripes, or something abstract.
You probably remember this skirt that I normally pair with a matching top. But I wanted not only a different look, but something slightly less dramatic. My new favorite black top, classic black bag, and black slides made for an easy, classic look, topped off with red lipstick.
It’s a way to ease into fun prints that will catch people’s eyes without making them think the look is childish.
And these photos were taken at the equally gorgeous Waldorf Astoria Orlando. Ahhhh, I love hanging out there!
Break out of a rut with some fun prints. You won’t regret it.
