The cool thing about two piece sets is that they can be worn with their better half or torn apart and paired with another piece. Basically sometimes I love having a thoughtless outfit in the closet and sometimes creative me refuses to be quiet.
This was one of the latter days. I wanted to wear the top since it’s easy and casual and summertime fun, but it needed to go with something else. A denim skirt with some attitude was perfect. I absolutely love denim skirts and things with embellishment and grommets.
Some equally embellished shoes made for a polished look and a bright but not quite matching bag added even more fun summer vibes.
Plus, I can’t think of a better place to take a walk and some photos than Birmingham. The flowers there are pretty much unbelievable and I love enjoying them every single chance I get. Life is short and I do regularly take time to stop and smell the roses … or begonias … petunias … lilies.
