For a few years now I have been shopping the semi-annual Sephora sale. It is such a great time to stock up on favorite products and experiment with a few new ones. Depending on your spend level, you can get up to 20% off, which is nothing to sneeze at. It’s can be a huge savings, especially if you have had your eye on a splurge.
Because I absolutely love beauty products I hope to make posts like this routine, but for now, I really just didn’t want you all to miss out on this sale. And I hope I might introduce you to products you weren’t previously familiar with.
This post focuses all on hair products. Starting with Oribe. For the longest time I didn’t want to splurge on Oribe products, but once I began using them I could see and feel the difference in my hair. I do like to switch things up frequently but I return to Oribe again and again. Now that you can save at Sephora, it’s the perfect time to check out some of the Gold Lust line. For me it is the gold standard and always in my house.
When I mix it up with more cost effective but no less wonderful products, I’m almost always turning to the healing powers of Olaplex or the mini tropical vacation from Briogeo. And the Kiehl’s Olive Oil Hair Pac is one of the products I have used the longest, over fifteen years!
For styling, you really cannot go wrong with the Kerastase Absolu Blonde Heat Protecting Serum if you have blonde hair in any shade. One of my newer favorites is the Drybar Liquid Glass. It smells like vanilla heaven (or old school Bath and Body Works for all my millennials out there) and it keeps hair super smooth. I’m excited to try the shampoo and conditioner since I love this product so much.
Ya’ll probably think I am crazy but I would be remiss if I didn’t recommend the Dyson Complete Air Wrap. I know. I know. It costs a fortune. That’s why I did not buy until it was a part of this sale. And I was fully prepared to test and return it, but then I fell in love. The curling wands can be a little hit and miss but with a combination of Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, linked above, and Oribe Thick spray, I find they last quite well.
It’s the round brush and the firm smoothing brush that are life … I mean hair changing. Having never ever “blown out” my hair before myself, on the first try with the round brush I did better than most of the pros who have styled my hair. That’s a big deal and it makes this a big recommendation from me. If you are thinking about making this purchase and you have more questions, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to chat about it.
Finally, I do think vitamins are a big part of healthy hair. I take HUM Killer Nails and Mom takes HUM Hair Sweet Hair because she doesn’t like pills. They are high quality and an important part of any beauty routine.
All the individual product pictures will take you right to Sephora. Happy shopping!
