Detroit is a car city and it’s fun to explore all that brings to it. Both Mom and Dad worked for Ford, so cars run in my blood. I have loved and appreciated them from an early age.
The Automotive Hall of Fame in Dearborn has been on my to do list for awhile, so on a particularly cold and generally yucky day, we headed there and it was a blast.
Though there is a lot of reading and information (too much to take in during one visit) there are also plenty of cool cars and some interactive exhibits. It was literally empty and that’s a shame because the museum is beautiful and full of interesting information. If you are in the area be sure to check it out.
I needed some color in my life on this grey day and wore my purple dress and purple heels. The grey sweater I wore as a jacket is super warm and cozy. Also, grey and purple pair so well together with those cool mountain tones.
The moon necklace I received for Christmas is my new favorite. The moon is such a powerful and inspiring symbol and I love wearing this around my neck. I actually never want to take it off!
What do you own that you never want to take off?
