And in my accessories. Pink is one of those colors that evokes thoughts of love, hearts, and femininity, which I love. I also love that there are many shades of it. Look what I have here – a baby pink dress that is super springy and hot pink accessories that scream Barbie, because we’re still in the Barbiecore era right??? And these are all just the beginning, there is a rainbow of pink in the world.
You can wear a lot of pink as with the dress, or a little of it to pop an outfit as with the shoes, bag, and sunglasses. I did wear the silver dress on a Wednesday so this Mean Girls fan definitely felt the urge to add some pink to my outfit. I wouldn’t want Regina George to be mad 😉
Those accessories also broke up that outfit. While I could have added silver shoes and a grey or silver bag to make a monochromatic outfit (something I also love doing), pink popped with the outfit on the beautiful spring night at the beachy Conrad hotel. And don’t let the bright sunshine fool you, when the sun went down and the breeze on the rooftop restaurant at the Conrad kicked up that wrap was definitely not just for show!
Heart earrings are paired with the pink dress. Even though they aren’t pink, they still lean into the pink theme. Basically, they’re pink in spirit. And the silver dress was paired with a bow. It has a hint of pink in a couple of the stones and also is pink in spirit, playing into the femininity of pink.
I hope these looks inspire you to wear a little or a lot of pink, pair it with all sorts of colors and be inspired to add some hearts and bows to your look. After all fashion should be fun and you should love what you wear!
