I haven’t been feeling my most festive this holiday season, but here in Orlando, it’s pretty easy to fix that. All the resorts are so beautifully decorated for the season, it’s impossible to be a grinch once you see the towering trees, life size gingerbread houses, and flowers, garland, and wreaths everywhere. There’s also the mall, the cute downtowns, and of course the theme parks (I’ve only seen those on Instagram, but still all the holiday feels!) to make you want to walk around singing carols.
The Four Seasons is definitely one of the best Christmas resorts, and there, it’s really the sidewalks lined with trees wrapped with lights and adorned with ornaments that make the season literally bright. It’s such a special place and it’s pretty awesome I get to visit often.
The other way I like to add a little Christmas magic to my life is through my outfit, of course. This dress is a new addition from a brand I have fallen in love with, Helsi, and it is Christmas in a dress. The sparkle and shine of this mostly green dress with flecks of sugar plum purple, is so perfect for the continuation of the holiday season. It transitions well into the New Year and keeps that glimmer of hope for the dawning of an amazing new future alive.
I paired it with crystal shoes, because why not? It is the holiday season. And a colorful bag. I would probably choose a different bag in the future, but I needed to get out the door and everything I pulled out didn’t quite jive. Still the bag makes a statement, like the whole outfit.
And that statement, really, is a reminder that little moments of sparkle and shine, the hope of the holidays, and the opportunity of a new year are always around.
