Happy Easter weekend! Easter is such a fun holiday being it tends to usher in spring (although now that I live in Florida, this is slightly less important), features a bunny as it’s unofficial mascot, and showcases so many happy colors. Because of all of these reasons, also growing up, it meant spring break and more than a week off of school, Easter has always held a special place in my heart.
Leaning into my favorite things, this post is all about bright, happy colors and the bunny bag charm I love. I mean a bunny in an Easter post, I really couldn’t resist.
The lemon outfit is another classic in my wardrobe because I love a fruit print (yeah, you read that right – fruit prints for the win always) and I love a two piece outfit. I paired this with yellow pumps, red lipstick, and the pastel bag with the bunny hanging off of it that is almost bigger than the bag itself. One of those moments when I lean into the concept that fashion should be fun.
The other outfit is just as Easter appropriate but in a totally different color scheme. It’s all about cool pastels – blue, green, purple, pink. Paired with blue sparkly shoes and the same bunny featuring bag, it’s the perfect outfit for spring and any Easter festivity.
What I love about this easy to wear dress is that it’s long sleeved, but not too warm. I’ve worn it on a day with a chill in the air and one where the heat was on.
I hope you have a spring-y Easter weekend and have some fun with your fashion whatever you do.
