My days seem to be getting busier and busier. I don’t know how, but I manage to squeeze more and more into my days because I have to. There is a blog to run, new ideas to draft for a novel or screenplay, revisions to make, lots of revisions, dinner to cook, events to attend, and more.
In order to try and check everything off my to do list every day, I use various tips and tricks to save time. From washing my fruit and vegetables ahead of time to charging my phone each night so I don’t run across a dead battery in the middle of the day, these easy things have seriously made a difference.
One area I continued to struggle until recently, was getting dressed and out the door on time when I’m going to events. Mom likes to say we are always late, which is so not true, but it can be a bit of trial to leave the house on time, partly because I can’t decide what to wear.
Luckily, I can rely on my favorite black skirt. Ladies, we all have that favorite black skirt in the closet; the one we wear over and over again. It might seem like a bad idea to wear that skirt over and over again, but as you can see with these photos, when styled differently, no one will even notice you are wearing the same skirt.
The skirt itself is not too long and not too short, in a good, year round fabric, with a flirty pleat, and can be worn with tops tucked in as well as left untucked making it super versatile.
First I paired it with a blouse for a professional look that can totally transition to drinks or dinner after work. Any blouse will work, but this one is great because it really stands out.
Next, I paired it with a fancy jacket. This look would be perfect for meeting in-laws or attending a bridal or baby shower. It’s still approachable but definitely rather formal.
Third, I added a black tank with beading and a scarf. Scarves are such a great way to mix up looks. I totally forgot about this in my closet and can’t wait to rock this outfit all summer long. Whether I am going shopping or hitting the farmers’ market, this outfit is ready to go. This is a lightweight scarf that won’t make me hot when the weather is steamy.
In the fourth look, I actually wore the same tank from the scarf ensemble, but you totally can’t tell because the white blazer is the showstopper. It has such a fresh, modern feel because of the waist tie. I wear this jacket over dresses and different skirts – it is another super versatile piece.
Finally, we have a super fun checkered crop top. You can’t tell in the photo, but it shows my midriff, and is the perfect thing to wear to a concert. I really love how fun and young this look is. It shows that the skirt can totally take you from day to night, fancy to casual, hip to sophisticated. My mom even borrows the skirt from me sometimes.
Another way to make life easier is to take Centrum Vitamints in new Raspberry or Cool Mint or Centrum Gummies that I pick up at Walmart. They help promote overall health which is awesome since we all lead crazy busy lives that don’t always leave us time to eat right, get enough sleep, and exercise.*
I always love a good gummy, but the Vitamints are so unique. I love the way they are easy to take chewables with or without food.
Get ready to conquer the day with your favorite black skirt and Centrum Vitamins. Enjoy staying healthy with simple solutions like Centrum Gummies and Vitamints!

Cute! I seem to get in a rut and have my go-to pairings. I love the idea of switching it up. #client
