Last week was part one of my ode to “Out of the Woods” with “the rest of the world was black and white,” and now I present part two “and we were in screaming color.” It’s one of my all-time favorite Taylor Swift songs, so I can’t promise there won’t be more parts 😉 And don’t we all sometimes wonder if we’re out of the woods yet? Don’t tell me I’m alone in that.
These two outfits are in fact in screaming color. The red-orange mini dress paired with the red-orange bag and bright red lipstick is super colorful, and also feels very autumn. It reminds me of the changing leaves throughout the country, the warm golden hue of the sun that also leans into the vibes of the gold sandals.
I wore this outfit on the day of the eclipse. I wasn’t sure what to expect but ordered some glasses at the last minute and was in complete and total awe at the power and beauty of what was only a partial eclipse in Orlando. I read there will be another eclipse next April so buy some eclipse glasses and check it out, you won’t be disappointed.
The purple dress is also that vibrant color that plays into the feels of fall and cooler weather. Because I sometimes love unique, out of the box color combination I paired the dress and popped the outfit with lime green pumps. Green pairs so well with purple as well as pink for a color combination that makes you take a second look, in what I hope is a good way.
While I love the classic outfits from last week in that timeless color combination of black and white, I might love these bright outfits just a little more because they have more personality, and well, I like screaming color.
