It’s winter in Florida, which is definitely my favorite time of the year. It will never not be weird to say I enjoy winter, and yet I will never get tired of being able to do so. It means I get to wear all the long sleeve pieces that would have been covered up by coats in Michigan. And it allows me to still wear allllllllll the bright colors. So many bright colors.
I have always loved wearing bright colors; I’m drawn to them. They brighten my mood and put a pep in my step. I particularly enjoy when I can pair a lot of bright colors together, as in these two outfits.
The dress is a color party all on its own. It’s a fun and flirty silhouette that is great for many occasions. I love pairing it with bright shoes and given that I spent part of this day at Disney Springs, I broke out a pair of my ears (and forgot how uncomfortable they are – even if I still loved wearing them). I wear this dress all the time, and I still love it. It’s great to have go-to pieces like that in my closet.
The other outfit features one of my favorite sweaters. It’s such a statement all on its own with the colors and crystals and smiling cloud. Because clouds are pretty awesome. Florida has also taught me how awesome clouds are. They can be absolutely gigantic and the best sunsets come when there are just the right amount of clouds to reflect light and add dimension in a million shades of sunset. So the smiling cloud is more than appropriate.
I paired it with a simple denim skirt and rainbow pumps because more colors.
