It’s almost Valentine’s Day, which admittedly is not my thing, but I do enjoy wearing the color red, especially red lipstick. I always feel good when I have my bright red lipstick on. For this look, I tried a tiny sample of matte 999 I received when I placed an order on dior.com and fell in love with it.
This lipstick is so light and moisturizing, but the color is vibrant and stayed in place all day long, exactly what I want from my lip colors. I am so excited to try more Dior lipsticks; they just rolled out a bunch of matte ones that I am sure to love.
Wearing red in February has more meaning than Valentine’s Day since it is heart month to promote awareness for heart disease in women. It is the silent epidemic and like all other diseases, I really hope our brilliant scientists are working to cure it.
For a fun shopping day out with dad, I wore a St. John sweater. St. John can read very mature, but the short cut of this jacket makes it fun and youthful. It shines next to a black pencil skirt and brown fur jacket since it was sooooo cold.
I also popped on my crystal Loubis because life is short and I needed some bling. They easily met the task of walking all around the mall.
