I posted a sneak peek of this look on Instagram and my blog earlier this week. This is actually Mom’s dress. I love sharing clothes with her, and she’s a big fan too. One of her favorite skirts is actually mine. The dress didn’t fit me perfectly, but with a belt cinching in the waist, it’s a look I absolutely love.
It’s also the dress Reese Witherspoon wears on the cover of her book, in a slightly different color. You probably guessed it’s Draper James since that’s Reese’s line. Their clothes are fun, flirty, and affordable with lots of feminine touches.
Take this dress for example. Between the lace, frilly sleeves and warm magenta color, it screams girly sophistication. At the same time, it’s super comfortable and perfect for a variety of occasions, particularly this time of year.
Though it’s not the typical red or green or even gold or silver, the darker tone of this dress suits the winter season and is an unexpected holiday color that I think works well.
