So it’s back to winter and reality as March is upon us here in Michigan, but March is supposed to be warmer than average, so fingers crossed.
As much as sometimes I dread it, I still need to venture out of the house in this cold weather. Recently I stopped at Plum Market one of my favorite spots to load my cart with organic produce, non-gmo snacks and baking ingredients, and Niman Ranch pork and beef.
Then I had a craving for a cup of coffee. I had just started the Whole30 and I wanted something to quell some cravings. I found a spot in Northville called Red Dot and fell in love. I’ve already been back.
I really enjoyed the pour over and the Blueberry Hibiscus Tea Latte. It’s so cozy and welcoming inside.
To go with my day of running errands, I broke out my new plaid blouse and tied a polka dotted belt around it for a contrast that I instantly fell in love with.
Since I went to parochial school, I tend to shy away from plaid so as not to evoke any bad memories, but distance has allowed me to break back into it and this blouse is a whole lot more fashionable than those wool skirts 🙂
Are you mad for plaid?

Cool outfit! I don’t have any plaid in my wardrobe so I may also have to rethink that as it is very chic on you! Terrific look. You must have love the Red Dot as you have two cups…..or were you holding Mom’s. LOL!

Haha – yes, I was holding Mom’s. She couldn’t hold it and take pics 🙂
