So I know I live in Florida now (yay!), and you’re like what winter? But Florida has some chilly weather, especially this year. I’ve been able to wear sweaters and wraps, even this giant pink one to keep warm. You guys, we actually have the heat on in the house. And are expecting a freeze this weekend.
Where am I living again???
A little chillier weather isn’t always a bad thing so I can wear some warmer pieces I love. And no matter where you live or how frigid it is, adding baby pink to your winter wardrobe staples is a ways to keep the frosty vibes of the season while brightening up your outfit, and I suspect, your mood too.
Wearing bright colors always makes me happy. While I definitely love pink, especially these pastel shades, if pink isn’t your thing, lilac, mint green, and baby blue are colors that can transition from winter to spring easily.
The grey sweater and pink skirt are pieces you’ve seen around here quite a bit. I wear them all the time because they are comfortable and classic. I never get tired of pairing them with different pieces. And honestly, sometimes I just feel like wearing a giant, cozy sweater.
The pink sequin dress and fur cape outfit is one I just wore this past weekend on my actual birthday to get out for a bit at the Ritz. It was such a fun and simple celebration that actually began so cloudy and cold we couldn’t take a walk outside, but we watched the sky clear and the powerful sun warm the day immensely. People even got in the pool!
At home, my flowers and balloons fit right in to the pink, cheerful feelings of the day.
I hope this inspires you to pink up your outfit!

Fun photos! We’re having today today. And tonight. And tomorrow. At least 1 foot of the stuff, likely more. Know you don’t miss that at all. 🙂

Yuck – I don’t miss snow, or ice, or cold at all. Hope it melts soon!
