Manolo Blahnik Timbs #FashionFriday

Aviator lens.  Sing it with me.  Or maybe I’m just dating myself.  For those of you who don’t know that lyric it’s from “’03 Bonnie and Clyde” by Jay Z and Beyoncé.  It’s a good song.  Look it up.

As the name might suggest, that song came out over a decade ago, and since then I have wanted a pair of Manolo Blahnik Timberlands for no good reason other than they were cool.

I thought my chance had passed and then Saks came out with two different exclusive versions.  The traditional ones and grey ones with fur trim.  I couldn’t stop thinking about them and asked for them for Christmas.  I didn’t get them because … well … they were rather pricey.

Luckily, Christmas Day I did some shopping and found them at a huge discount.  They are still on sale for a bit more than I paid if you are interested.  My aunt got them for me as a combined Christmas and birthday present.  Thanks, Debbie!!!

While they aren’t super warm, they are fashionable and comfortable and I loved wearing them on a shopping … er returning … trip this past weekend.  I paired them with a short black skirt to allow them to shine and a pink blouse for a pop of color.

I will be wearing my Manolo Blahnik Timbs and channeling Beyoncé, because we all want to be like Beyoncé, for years to come.
