I talk a lot about wearing colors inspired by nature. Most of those colors have to do with sunrise and sunset. Yellow, orange, pink, purple. You know, those swoon worthy hues that give you all the chills when you see them fill the sky.
But there are more nature inspired colors that are so perfect for outfits. Like green in all the shades. Think of a box of crayons and all the different green ones. Not only are they in an array of tones, but almost all of them have colors and names that are inspired by nature. Pine Green. Forest Green. Granny Smith Apple.
Today I have several different shades of green rocking. A shamrock green sweater that gives me all the luck of the Irish vibes and is such a bright and bold color. I paired it with my new favorite denim skirt, a vintage black bag, and blue and green pumps for a causal but polished look that I would wear again and again.
I wore my fancy architectural Marchesa dress for a Mother’s Day outing with Mom. It’s one of the very first nice dresses I bought (on maaaaaaajor sale) and I still love it, even if I don’t wear it all the time since it has a giant personality. But the soothing mint green background and the deeper pine green stitching are the perfect combo for a fancy spring outing.
I paired it with one of the first really nice pairs of shoes I bought (ummmm, not on major sale unfortunately) and a tiny Gucci bag that is so cute but holds oh so little.
I love both outfits equally as different as they are because green is such a fun shade found in nature and fashion.

Love both of these looks. The dress is a work of art and looks fabulous on you. Love the color. And the sweater and skirt are very nice and will also be a great look on St. Patrick’s Day next year too! Green is a great color on you.
