Would you call this dress magenta? Or burgundy? The website calls it peony. I like peonies, but I’m not sure.
Whatever color you think this dress is (I promise it’s not blue or gold), it instantly became a hit in my wardrobe. It’s fun, flirty, comfortable, and pretty much made for a night on the town. If you love it, it’s still available too.
Some of these photos are from an unseasonably warm September evening that was a bit of a rush and left me with little time to snap some pics. I try to make time for photos since it’s become part of my career but sometimes the night just slips by. When that happens, I don’t let myself get marred in regret. There are always more days to take pictures.
The rest of the photos were taken more recently on a wintry December evening.
Each time, I accessorized the dress slightly differently, and it looks slightly different, but I totally love it either way. And I can’t wait to wear it again.

PS: Are you tired of Christmas tree pics yet? Me neither!
PPS: Can you spot Mom accidentally photobombing a couple of these pics???

It’s a very cool look and I think it is more a deep pink than a burgundy….whatever color, it looks great on you!

I can see why the website calls this peony — it’s a hard color to describe, and it looks different in different light. I vote for peony. 🙂
