Can’t stop won’t stop with the Taylor Swift song title puns. I’ve become a big fan of Folklore as of late after watching the documentary on Disney+, and My Tears Ricochet gets me every single time.
But I digress.
I’m not always a fan of tiered dresses but these two are definite go-tos in my closet for easy to wear dresses when I am feeling indecisive. They are fun and flirty with the mini length, have sheer long sleeves that make them appropriate for just about any Florida weather and perfect for time inside often chilly hotels and theaters.
The lavender dress has a bit of sparkle and a tie in the back. Those little details along with the twist in the front really add to the dress. I paired it with silver and pink glitter pumps for a tiny bit of contrast while keeping things in the same color scheme and vibe.
The multicolored floral dress has a bit more flare, literally, since the ruffles in the skirt have piping in them. It gives the skirt a lot of personality and sometimes makes it a big difficult to work with. I wouldn’t want to wear it on a super windy day because that skirt would be alllllll over the place.
I chose a neutral bag with a pop of color in the charm that matches the dress, my nail polish, and bracelet incredible well. Those green shoes are a big pop of color that made the dress perfect for daytime. They don’t actually glow in the dark, even though that sunshine makes them look like it. For evening I would probably choose different shoes. I have previously worn silver as well as purple.
In the past, I don’t think I’ve given tiered dresses enough of a chance, but now I realize that if the silhouette, fabric, fit, and color are just right they are quite special.
