Sometimes I struggle with blogging and even more so with social media. There’s so much pressure and many feelings of inadequacy.
But there are benefits too. One of them is that posting all the time has pushed me to create new and exciting recipes, as well as hone my personal style.
I can’t wear the same outfits over and over, the same lipstick, the same hairstyle. I need to mix it up. In doing so, in playing around with say blue lipstick or a crop top or in this case a side pony tail, I find things I like that I maybe didn’t think I would.
I dress for me, for what I like, instead of because I saw someone else wear something. When I share my looks here, I hope you’ll enjoy them. I hope they might inspire you to wear something different, buy something you might not have before.
While I have gone through difference phases in life before and I am sure my style will continue to evolve, I don’t think this is a phase as much as me finding a voice and feeling free to express it, not just in words, but through what I wear as well.
As for this outfit, it was a nice October day and I got to hang out with Mom and I wore a super summery dress in fall and I’m not mad about it. I sometimes think this dress is a little shapeless, but the jacket really mixed it up.
How as your style evolved?
Dress: Milly // Jacket: Current/Elliott // Shoes: Christian Louboutin // Bag: Dior

This dress looks great summer or fall! And your day looks beautiful, like a summer day and I know how you love warm summer days….. My look evolved when we started wearing business casual to work and then after retiring even more casual. Love dressing up for special occasions but mostly I am casual.
